bgpcrack was written based on ideas and on an early prototype (written
in Python) from Sean Convery. bgpcrack added an on-line
cracking mode which the early prototype did not have, as well as a
faster implementation written in C.

The word generation functions (cfg.[ch], rules.[ch] and rpp.[ch]) were
taken from Niels Provos <provos@citi.umich.edu> stegdetect program.
Niels took these functions from Solar Designer's excellent password
cracking program "John the Ripper".
